Established by Chapter N117 of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Law of the Federation of Nigeria of 2004, The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission aims to promote, encourage and coordinate investment in the Nigerian economy.
Our main function is to coordinate and monitor all investment promotion activities to which this law applies. We initiate and support measures that will improve the investment climate in Nigeria for Nigerian and non-Nigerian investors.
Promoting investments inside and outside Nigeria through effective promotional means is also one of the core functions of our entity. Without forgetting to collect, collate and analyse information on investment opportunities and sources of investment capital, and the choice or suitability of partners in joint venture projects.
